What is Zumba?

Zumba fitness is the new dance craze taking over the fitness world!!  Combining cardio, aerobic, toning and dance moves, this fun and fabulous dance fitness style is suitable for all and is great fun!!

Dance routines designed specifically to work on different areas of the body, Zumba is a full body workout where you don't feel like your actually working out at all, more just that you are having fun dancing with your friends!! 

 

Who are Children's Zumba Classes suitable for?

Childrens Zumba - suitable for Ages 6 and upwards, and can be a great way to help your kids to keep active and healthy!!

 

When are the classes held?

Kids Zumba (ages 6+ years) - Monday Evenings - 6.00pm to 6.30pm

 

I've never done Zumba before, can I just join in?

The routines are fun and easy to pick up, and can be danced at a level to suit you!! The class starts with the low impact version of the dance steps, then gradually increases in intensity to create the full body workout!!  If you are new, you can stick to the lower intensity steps to begin with and gradually build up week after week!!  You will be flying through the routines before you know it!!

Complete beginners are welcome at any session as the routines are built up from scratch each week as part of your warm up!!  New dances and routines are introduced at regular intervals, but as always the focus is on dancing and having fun!!

If you want to come along to have a look, just pop in during one of our sessions!!  The instructor will be happy to answer your questions at the end of the session!!
