
What is Zumba?
Zumba fitness is the new dance craze taking over the fitness world!! Combining cardio, aerobic, toning and dance moves, this fun and fabulous dance fitness style is suitable for all ages and is great fun!!
Dance routines designed specifically to work on different areas of the body, Zumba is a full body workout where you don't feel like your actually working out at all, more just that you are having fun dancing with your friends!!
What type of Zumba Classes are delivered at 180?
We have a large selection of Zumba classes to choose from, all delivered slightly differently to suit your individual needs!! All, however, focus on combining fun and fitness!!
Evening Classes - the adult classes take place almost every evening throughout the week, and are suitable for adults of all ages and abilities!!
Daytime Classes - slightly lower impact classes, however you can tailor the moves to suit your level by increasing your input to achieve a higher impact, should you wish to do so!!
Zumba Tone Classes - Zumba Tone uses similar routines and dance styles to the regular Zumba classes however the routines focus more on the toning elements of Zumba Fitness!!
When are the classes held?
Adult Zumba Tone - Monday Evenings - 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Adult Daytime Zumba (Lower Impact) - Wednesday Mornings - 10.30am to 11.15am
Adult Zumba - Wednesday Evenings - 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Adult Zumba - Thursday Evenings - 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Adult Daytime Zumba (Lower Impact) - Friday Mornings - 10.30am to 11.15am
I've never done Zumba before, can I just join in?
The routines are fun and easy to pick up, and can be danced at a level to suit you!! All the classes start with the low impact version of the dance steps, then gradually increase in intensity to create the full body workout!! If you are new, you can stick to the lower intensity steps to begin with and gradually build up week after week!! You will be flying through the routines before you know it!!
Complete beginners are welcome at any session as the routines are built up from scratch each week as part of your warm up!! New dances and routines are introduced at regular intervals, but as always the focus is on dancing and having fun!!
If you want to come along to have a look, just pop in during one of our sessions!! The instructor will be happy to answer your questions at the end of the class!!
